The Joint Commission

It is our goal to help our hospital partners prepare for Joint Commission site visits.  To ensure our hospitals have all the supporting information needed, our Hospital Services staff are available to assist you in this process.

The United States Government encourages public and professional education of the critical need for donated organs, eyes, and tissues for transplantation. 

Conditions of Participation

In 1998, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) assembled the Conditions of Participation (COP), the federal regulation for donation.  This regulation was established to encourage hospitals and donation agencies to work together in an attempt to bridge the gap between the number of donated organs and the number of people waiting.
